About the Signature Pitch

Each regional film centre and ISFI will select one project from its region to participate in Signaturpitchen. Signaturpitchen is aimed at professional directors; students are not eligible to apply. The prize will be awarded as a personal grant, and the funds must be used to further develop the winning project. The grant is taxable under Norwegian law. The project must be in the idea/early development phase. The pitch must be delivered in English and must include visual material or moving images. The project must be a fiction short film with a maximum running time of 10 minutes. The jury consists of international producers and festival programmers from A-festivals. Each project will have a total of 10 minutes during the pitch session (7 minutes for the pitch + 3 minutes for questions from the jury). The jury may take the filmmaker’s previous work into consideration. Please note: The application and all documents must be written in English and marked “SIGNATURPITCH.”
