ISFI is a driving force in the Sámi and global Indigenous film industry. We are building a sustainable and leading-edge Sámi film industry that is internationally visible and attractive. The Sámi film industry and ISFI are experiencing strong growth; therefore, we aim to strengthen our team by hiring a Financial Consultant for a permanent position.

Responsibilities:

As the Financial Consultant at the International Sámi Film Institute, your main tasks will include, but are not limited to:

The financial consultant will work with the company’s financial functions, including budgeting, accounting, and project reporting. ISFI uses the accounting system Poweroffice, and the financial consultant will work closely with ISFI’s accountant at Sparebanken1 Regnskapshuset and the director. The financial consultant will also be responsible for following up on ISFI’s grant portfolio and project reporting, along with the administration manager.

Qualifications:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced candidate with the following qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Sámi, Norwegian, and English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Preferably a bachelor’s degree in economics, business administration, or related fields. A master’s degree or relevant certification is an advantage.
  • Experience in finance, strategy, and personnel management is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Thorough knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
