Travel grants

The grant can be applied for to participate in courses, financing forums, film markets, festivals, award ceremonies or film cultural events with your own project.

• Individuals who work professionally in the audiovisual/gaming industry.
• Producer, co-producer, director or screenwriter who defines themselves as Sámi or as a Sámi-speaker.

In order to receive a grant from ISFI, the applicant and project must meet ISFI’s general conditions.

You can apply for a grant to participate in courses, financing forums, festivals, award ceremonies or film cultural events with your own project.

If you travel domestically, you can apply for a maximum of NOK 10,000 in support.

A maximum of NOK 20,000 can be awarded for travel abroad.

The applicant must submit an application at least one month before the trip is scheduled.

All expenses must be documented by receipts in connection with reporting. Expenses for food and driving are not covered. This can be marked as a deductible in the application.

Expenses for which receipts are required:

• Accommodation
• Airline tickets and public transport
• Documentation/receipt of paid participation at, for example, a course, festival or other event

Attach any other receipts documenting expenses in connection with reporting.

There are no application deadlines for travel grants, and applications are processed on an ongoing basis.
