Through this collaboration, ISFI strengthens access to leading international film markets and professional opportunities for Sámi filmmakers and producers. Two New ICA members
For 2026, the Alliance welcomes two new organisations from Aotearoa, Māoriland Film Festival and Ngā Aho Whakaari / Māori in Screen, joining the members imagineNATIVE, 4th World Media, and Film.gl, MULLU, Winda, PIC, and ISFI.
The markets in 2026
The ICA will shift its primary industry presence from the European Film Market to the inaugural TIFF: The Market in Toronto. The Alliance will continue its engagement with the European Film Market (EFM) and expand into the Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Market, creating new opportunities for emerging Indigenous filmmakers to highlight their new film projects.
Sámi producers join the 2026 ICA Fellowship program
In 2026, the ICA Fellows will engage with one or more ICA market programs—Clermont-Ferrand, EFM, or TIFF: The Market— depending on individual project needs and goals. Additional Fellows will be announced ahead of the Toronto International Film Festival 2026 Market.
