Tate Modern, one of the world’s leading institutions for visual art, hosts the closing of Máret Ánne Sara’s major exhibition Goavve-Geabbil (14 October 2025 – 12 April 2026) in the Turbine Hall, marking a significant moment for Sámi art on the international stage.

As part of Tate Modern Lates, the museum teams up with International Sámi Film Institute (ISFI) and NANU – Sámi Arts International, to unite Sámi artists with London-based creatives. To celebrate the closing weeks of Goavve-Geabbil, Sámi artists across disciplines, including duodji, music and film, have been invited to take part in a multidisciplinary programme. The International Sámi Film Institute contributes with a curated film selection from Sámi filmmakers reflecting the themes of Máret Ánne Sara’s work.

When: 27 March 2026 at 18.00–22.00
