OPEN POSITION:
International Coordinator

The International Sámi Film Institute is seeking a temporary full-time International Coordinator.

As the International Coordinator, you will collaborate with ISFI’s partners across various events, such as film screenings and workshops. You will also be responsible for publishing films on the SAPMIFILM.COM streaming platform.

Start date: As soon as possible
Duration: Until the end of November 2025, with the possibility of an extension
Workplace: ISFI office in Buletjávri, Guovdageaidnu

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan and coordinate events, such as film screenings and workshops.
2. Organize and coordinate Sámi film screenings at film festivals and other industry events.
3. Establish and maintain partnerships with ISFI collaborators and partners.
4. Publish films on the Sapmifilm.com streaming platform.
5. Coordinate other projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Sámi and English, both verbally and in writing.
• Education in marketing or project management; relevant work experience in these fields is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Interested in the film industry and the important role of film in society.
• Willingness and ability to travel.
