SEND YOUR SÁMI SHORT FILM TO TIFF 2027

Sámi Filbmabargiid Searvi (SFS) / Sámi Filmworkers Association and Tromsø International Film Festival (TIFF) are seeking short films for two programmes at TIFF 2027.

Celebrating 40 years of Sámi cinema, the screenings will feature award winners and lesser-known films.

– We hope filmmakers from across Sápmi will submit their films and reach new audiences, says SFS chair Johannes Vang.

Films must have a Sámi director or screenwriter and run no longer than 20 minutes. All genres are welcome.
